Capital Radio Network owns eight stations. Since 2009, their stations in Canberra, Goulburn and Perth have been a partnership with Grant Broadcasters. Whilst their Cooma and Warragul/Gippsland stations are wholly-owned by Capital Radio Network.

Partnership

  • Canberra : Southern Cross Austereo owns 104.7 and Australian Radio Network owns Mix 106.3. In 1994 the two networks decided to work together. They joined the FM stations as a partnership and sold the two AM stations - 2CA and 2CC - to Capital Radio Network. 2CA has a classic hits format whilst 2CC is news, talk and sport.
  • Goulburn : Capital Radio Network bought 2GN in 1987. Ten years later, 2GN launched its supplementary FM station, Eagle FM. Eagle FM has a top 40 format whilst 2GN is classic hits.
  • Perth : Capital Radio Network bought 6IX in 1998 from Southern Cross Broadcasting and has a classic hits format.

Wholly-owned

  • Cooma : The Snowy Mountains was originally served by one commercial AM station, 2XL. In 1998, 2XL launched its supplementary FM station, Snow FM. Snow FM has a top 40 format whilst 2XL is classic hits.
  • Warragul/Gippsland : In 2007, Southern Cross Broadcasting merged with Macquarie Media Group. With Southern Cross owning the Network Ten affiliate television channel in Victoria, they sold 3GG to Capital Radio Network. 3GG has a classic hits format.
