Nova is a radio network owned by Nova Entertainment. The top 40 network is created from the new FM stations launched in the five mainland capital between 2001 and 2004.
- Sydney : Nova 96.9 launched in 2001. It was the first new commercial station in Sydney for 21 years when 2Day FM and Triple M launched.
- Melbourne : Nova 100 launched in 2001. Like Sydney, it was the first new commercial station in Melbourne for 21 years when two stations launched, Fox FM and EON FM (now Triple M).
- Brisbane : Nova 106.9 launched 2004. It was three years earlier when the previous new commercial station launched in Brisbane. It was 97.3 FM which is a Nova Entertainment/Australia Radio Network partnership.
- Adelaide : Nova 91.9 launched in 2004. It is the second FM-only commercial station in Adelaide. SAFM (Hit 107) was the first which launched 24 years earlier in 1980.
- Perth : Nova 93.7 launched in 2002. Like Adelaide, it is the second FM-only commercial station in Perth. 96fm was the first which launched 22 years earlier in 1980. Nova 93.7 is a partnership between Nova Entertainment and Australian Radio Network.
