smoothfm 95.3 is an easy listening station in Melbourne and is owned by Nova Entertainment. Launched in 2005, it is Melbourne's fourth FM-only and latest commercial station.

The station has had many formats over its short history. It started as Vega 91.5, an adult contemporary station with a mix of talk. After a year, the talk was removed to compete with Gold 104.3, Mix 101.1 (now KIIS 101.1) and Triple M.

Vega 91.5 format was too broad with the other commercial FM stations offering their targetted formats. In 2010, after five years on air, the station became Classic Rock 91.5. This format lasted only two years.

In 2012 it changed to an easy listening format. The station was renamed smoothfm 91.5 to reflect the new format.
