Star FM is a radio network owned by Southern Cross Austereo. The stations in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia are part of the Today's Hit Network. The brand was created in 1999 by DMG Radio, now Nova Entertainment. In 2004, they sold the network to Macquarie Regional RadioWorks, now Southern Cross Austereo.
The Star FM stations have their own local breakfast program. Then from 9am weekdays, they network from Southern Cross Austereo Gold Coast or Albury Media Centres. From 4pm weekdays, Star FM stations take the national Today's Hit Network programming.
